This incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
